december

good morning... good thursday...welcome december.
So, since november i have been enjoying my favorite season...and december is like, the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie...
i am heading 'home' in 20 days and that has brought a lot of thoughts and emotions. i can not wait to be sitting in various places enjoying coffee with my family; i can not wait to squeeze at least 2 new baby boys and love on them; i can not wait for snow; the list of family things grows.  however, that whole i left my heart in san francisco...yep.
this city, these people, the whole 'ness' of the left coast has grown on me. i can't say i agree with it, them or even really understand much of it but i love it. and not in a shallow i love my new shoes way ( well...oh anyway) but in a sincere, i love it. i feel so blessed to have this experience and for what is to come.
God is so good and faithful.. and truth worthy. it feels good  to 'say' that and actually mean it for the fist time in well.. probably ever.. i know God's promises are true and he will NOT fail me.
so, snowy coffee fireplace cozy family filled days, here i come. but sunny windy chilly better coffee God ordained city, i shall return.
