so i turned 32 yesterday...
i made 32 promises to myself...
lets see how this year goes, i have high expectations...

don't fall over but...

it's been a long while since i have posted... i figured since i am about to start a new year i should check in. i'm still here, still in SF, but not blonde...
i have been really thinking about purposeful living lately.. and i think that will be my plan for this new year.. not that i haven't been living that way because, i believe God being in control would never leave me living un purposeful. i just want to be conscience... so here a few pictures of where i've been... etc.

Tomorrow is the day I have been waiting for for 7 months...
family here I come.. Bruce and Tara see you Sunday but... family and all that is familiar is
just , it's so soon and i can't wait.

14 days.













just a few things to share:
1. two days in a row i have worn my huge down lands end coat ( ironically lands end is a nation park here)
2. i'm tired but so giddy
3.my office is cozy
4. i don't do well with whiny people
5. i laugh everytime we sing white christmas here...

19 days?

december

good morning... good thursday...welcome december.
So, since november i have been enjoying my favorite season...and december is like, the whipped cream on the pumpkin pie...
i am heading 'home' in 20 days and that has brought a lot of thoughts and emotions. i can not wait to be sitting in various places enjoying coffee with my family; i can not wait to squeeze at least 2 new baby boys and love on them; i can not wait for snow; the list of family things grows.  however, that whole i left my heart in san francisco...yep.
this city, these people, the whole 'ness' of the left coast has grown on me. i can't say i agree with it, them or even really understand much of it but i love it. and not in a shallow i love my new shoes way ( well...oh anyway) but in a sincere, i love it. i feel so blessed to have this experience and for what is to come.
God is so good and faithful.. and truth worthy. it feels good  to 'say' that and actually mean it for the fist time in well.. probably ever.. i know God's promises are true and he will NOT fail me.
so, snowy coffee fireplace cozy family filled days, here i come. but sunny windy chilly better coffee God ordained city, i shall return.
