life has been so full..i just finished my fist WMI experience... got to spend sometim in SoCal...( the lingo.. yeah it's coming) got to see a good friend from high school ..( who is heading back to philly..stink) got to see Bolthouse... ha made some new friends.. learned that life on the east/west coast though very different, also very much the same... learned that i'm not alone... ( i'll leave that at that)... learned that i'm really alone... learned that we serve a God who every day makes Himself known, when we shut up and listen...got to meet sara groves...( and her bass player.. who loves s.f.)... learned, that fieval, was right... it's the same big sky that we are all under...
i truly feel at home here in california. i think new jersey ( where i was born) was suppsoe to really be a suburb of california. now, if He; God could arrange for the left and the right side of the map to fold in and be next to each other, life would be perfect. i said yesterday, when i first landed here in march i couldn't really grasp what i saw. in san francisco, you have this city built into hills with houses right on top of each other and it just doesn't make sense; well, i have learned that i don't need to understand it.. and it's beautiful. it really is beautiful... it is a pre amble to what the city stands for.. different color houses, with different shapes all wicked close to each other to make something beautiful... thats how the people are here too... different colors, shapes, mind sets, ideas, creativity.. squished wicked close to make this city beatuiful. i think this one view of how God sees his creation.. we must look like a beautiful jumbled mess.. yet he knows exactly where each one needs to be places, to make his symphony beautiful...
i am learning to fit into my place here... God knows what he's doing.. and i'm learning to shut it : ) ha
so i'll just keep driving my little prius up big hills knowing that at the top is another view of what is in store..
